18K Victorian Diamond Monogram JR/RJ Blue Guilloche Enamel Locket

An exceptional Victorian c.1890-1900 blue guilloche and diamond locket modelled in 18k gold.

The locket features the most gorgeous monogram “JR" or "RJ", with the monogram being flipped in a double mirror design with a fancy stylised font. It is remarkably stunning. Regardless of the monogram, it still makes for a very unique and eye-catching stylised motif from afar.

The entire monogram is set with a generous number of sparkling rose cut diamonds. Additionally, the bail has a very unique star motif, topped off with a lovely rose cut diamond to match. There are approx. 1.25ctw of rose cut diamonds by spread. All diamonds are original and present, with no missing stones.

The front of the locket has the most gorgeous deep blue guilloche enamel and it is in excellent condition. The interior of the locket retains its original bezel and glass frame, which can be used to store a photograph or precious mementos.

This is a quality heirloom worthy piece that is offered in excellent and exquisite condition. It would be a great addition to any jewellery enthusiast’s collection.

It measures 30mm x 40mm with bail, 30mm x 30mm without bail and weighs 16.30 grams.
