18K French Victorian Amethyst White Enamel Brooch

A breathtaking one of a kind French Victorian c.1870-1880 amethyst and white enamel brooch crafted in 18k gold, hallmarked.

The brooch features an amazing border of floral white enamel detailing, framing a gorgeous deep purple amethyst approx. 11.12ct. It has such a regal-like presence and is just gorgeous! The white enamel is in perfect condition with no wear to the enamel.

It is hallmarked with the French eagle head for 18k gold and opens and closes well.

This is a wonderful example of antique French craftsmanship and fine attention to detail, and would make an excellent addition to any collection.

It measures 23.5mm x 20.10mm height and weighs 5.81 grams.
