Do you offer layaway?

We gladly offer layaway on all items. This can range from 3 to 12 months payment plans depending on the price of the item.

Layaway is offered at no additional fees, regardless of the length of time. This is something that we pride ourselves in - making antique pieces accessible for everyone.

How do I begin layaway on an item/or items?

Under each product listing, there will be a description of the maximum number of monthly payments accepted for the particular item. Once you have decided on the amount of payments you require, we simply divide by the amount of payments needed.

Shipping cost is only added on the last layaway payment at checkout.

You may then notify us at the "Contact Us" page, click here, or by DM @lace.jewels on Instagram, of the item(s) you require layaway on, and the amount of payments needed.

We will set up a layaway listing for you on the product's listing page, and the first month's payment is required to secure the item(s) for you. Thereafter, you may pay towards your layaway in monthly payments on the product listing until your layaway plan is completed.

What if I need a longer period to complete my layaway than stated on the product listing?

We are flexible & understanding toward your circumstances. If you need a little more time to complete a layaway than the maximum amount of payments specified in the product listing, please get in touch through the "Contact Us" page, click here, and we will be happy to work out a plan that works best for you!

Monthly Layaway Payment:

The buyer, in completion of this layaway payment, agrees to the terms and conditions as stated in this invoice. As this is a layaway payment service fee, it is strictly non-refundable at any point. Layaway cancellation will result in the forfeiture of all payment(s) made. Additionally, no physical good(s) will be shipped for this invoice, and hence, no tracking number will be available. Any fraudulent transactions and buyers will be reported to the relevant authorities.

Final Layaway Payment:

The buyer, in completion of this final layaway payment, agrees to the terms and conditions as stated in this invoice. As this is a layaway payment service fee, it is strictly non-refundable at any point. Additionally, as this is an antique item, there will be age-appropriate surface marks, scratches and minor wear expected unless stated otherwise. The buyer, in fulfilling the payment of this invoice, acknowledges that he/she has inspected and accepted the quality of the item through the high quality pictures provided prior to purchase. No refunds and no returns are accepted under any circumstances. Layaway cancellation will result in the forfeiture of all payment(s) made. Any fraudulent transactions and buyers will be reported to the relevant authorities.

Is my purchase gift-wrapped?

- All purchases at Lace Jewels (Antique Jewellery) come with a lovely presentation gift box &/or organic cotton pouch that has an embossed foiling of our logo. Additionally, each purchase is shipped in an eco-recycled postal box that is embossed with a lovely message on the outside in gold foil, complete with a ribbon. It will make the perfect gift presentation be it for yourself or for a special someone.

- All purchases at Lace Jewels x The Tufted Silk (Antique Boxes & Displays) are lovingly wrapped with coloured paper. It comes sealed with a grosgrain ribbon shaped as a bow will be affixed to the packaging of the box. It will be sufficiently padded and wrapped with bubble wrap to ensure a safe delivery during transit for your antique box.

How is my purchase shipped?

For jewellery, your Lace Jewels purchase will be shipped tracked & signed, by:

You may also opt for additonal insurance coverage at 1.5% of the insured value. (For example, if the value of the item you would like to insure is $2000, insurance will cost $30).

While the chances of a lost package is extremely rare (we have never had a missing package), we are not responsible for any lost or damaged package(s) during shipping transit. We are not liable for any delays in shipping transit times after the package has been shipped.

Depending on the choice of method of shipping you choose, and the country of which the item(s) is located at the time of purchase. We travel frequently, and as we offer our items for sale online, we will be able to ship your items securely wherever we are at the time of sale by using an Express Courier.

From December 2023, we will be shipping from Germany.

Shipment for jewellery by DHL Express is $55, up to 0.5kg. (Original price is $85, we have absorbed the extra costs)

Here are the estimated transit times, they serve as guidelines and not as guarantees as the shipping transit times are dependent on the delivery couriers.

Shipment for boxes & displays by Deutsche Post Germany is $35 up to 1.99kg, and $65 up to 5kg, including the packaging weight.

Antique Boxes Transit Time:
International: Around 2 - 5 weeks
EU/UK: Around 1 - 2.5 weeks

Will there be any additional customs duties/fees upon arrival?

Not to worry! There will be no additional customs duties/fees upon arrival! This is for all countries that we ship to.

Our listings are in USD currency.

Do you accept other currencies?

Yes, we are able to accept other currencies. You may click the dropdown menu to select your desired currency and checkout via the website by card.

Yes we do! We offer customisation & conversion projects on the pieces on our site. For example, if you spot a brooch that you would like to convert to a ring, pendant, or necklace etc. Or, if you need a specific length for your chain.
