14K & Silver European Victorian Diamond Floral Navette Ring

A stunning and unusual European Victorian c.1840-1860 navette ring, set with florals, leaves, and petals in an artistic rendition, instead of a standard navette-marquise shape. It is set with rose cut diamonds, and in the center, a collet set rose cut diamond. The diamonds are foiled-back. It is a wonderful statement size yet is not over-the-top large, measuring 15mm x 34mm, and is a US 9.5 and sizable. The shank is a later replacement in the c.1910s, and is hallmarked 585 for 14k gold.

There are approx. 1.80ctw of rose cut diamonds by spread, with the center diamond 0.60ct.

Note: Please note that as the diamonds are foiled, it is advisable that the piece does not get wet or exposed to water. It can be gently cleaned by wiping it down with a wrung out damp cloth.
