18K French Victorian Diamond & Guilloche Enamel Winged Dangle Earrings
An alluring pair of French Victorian c.1860-1880 guilloche enamel and rose cut diamond dangle earrings, modelled in 18k gold.
It was a brooch that has been masterfully converted into a pair of wearable dangle earrings. Each earring is a wing beautifully detailed with the most exquisite red and green guilloche enamel is pristine condition, and further accented by glittering rose cut diamonds approx. 0.50ctw by spread, lining each of the wing’s edge. The wing is further detailed with textures to give it depth and dimension, a true testament to expert antique craftsmanship.
This is one of the most beautiful and unique pair of winged enamel earrings we have ever come across, and it is certainly one of a kind. Wings are powerful symbols and have deep meaning, such as Hope, Change, Freedom and Renewal.
It measures 8mm x 20mm height, not including the earring wire, and the wire top to bottom drop is 33mm height, and it weighs 4.24 grams in total.
These are a pair of amazing and rare antique earrings that would make an excellent addition to any jewellery lover's collection.
