14K Dutch Victorian Trio Diamond Ring

A beautiful Dutch Victorian c.1870-1880 diamond trio cluster ring crafted in 14k gold, hallmarked.

The ring is set with chunky rose cut diamonds approx. 2.01ctw by spread. It is a unique design comprising of a trio of large rose cut diamonds, with the upper and bottom being flower clusters surrounded by smaller rose cut diamonds. The middle rose cut diamond features a buttercup setting.

The upper and bottom clusters are closed back and appear to be foiled and is in good condition commensurate with age. The middle rose cut diamond is open-backed. All stones and components are original to the piece with no missing stones or modifications.

It is hallmarked with the Dutch cartouche and '585' for 14k gold on the inner shank of the band. It is sourced from the Netherlands and is Dutch in origin.

The ring face measures 8.2mm x 24.1mm height, and weighs 5.66 grams.

It is a wonderful and beautiful example of antique Dutch jewellery offered in great condition.

It is a US 7.75 and sizable.

Note: Please note that as the diamonds are foiled, it is advisable that the piece does not get wet or exposed to water. It can be gently cleaned by wiping it down with a wrung out damp cloth.
