14K & Silver Victorian Diamond & Rock Crystal Floral Locket, Detachable Brooch & Pendant Bail with Original Box (3-in-1)

An absolutely stunning Victorian c.1890-1900 diamond and rock crystal locket, modelled in 14k gold and silver.

This is an extremely rare piece of jewellery, with three detachable parts consisting of a rock crystal quartz locket, a bow brooch, and a flower shaped pendant bail. This allows multiple combinations with different looks. For example:

1) All three parts can be worn together
2) The locket with the bail
3) The locket with the bow brooch

Additionally, the bow and bail can also be worn with other pieces in your collection, not limited to these pieces here, making it a highly collectible and versatile staple.

Sparkling rose cut diamonds approx. 3.25ctw by spread are set in all three pieces in fine and detailed floral and foliate work, resembling flowers, leaves and vines. The diamonds are closed-back, but do not appear to be foiled. They exude an old world charm with a soft but brilliant sparkle.

The locket is set with a large rock crystal quartz to the front, which magnifies its contents. The reverse also has a magnifying glass frame which can be taken out, and mementos can be stored in the locket such as pressed dried flowers, silk ribbons, a photograph or portrait etc.

It comes with its original fitted velvet fitted box with a silk interior on the inner lid. The hinge of the box has given way, but it is remarkable that we still have its original box.

The piece with all three pieces together measures 29mm x 58mm with bail, 29mm x 48.5mm without bail. The locket measures 29m x 36mm height, the bow brooch measures 25mm x 15mm height, and the flower bail measures 5.5mm x 11mm height.

It weighs 17.49 grams and is in great condition.
