9K European Georgian Amethyst & Pearl Cross Pendant

A gorgeous European Georgian c.1820-1830 amethyst and pearl large size cross pendant, crafted in 9k gold.

It is a stunning and rare piece featuring amethysts approx. 9.26ctw. The cross has oval shaped amethysts with pearl accents with a matching bail set with amethysts. There are milgrain detailing in the bezel set amethysts to give even more details to the piece which is such a beautiful detail. It is open-backed to allow more light to pass through the amethysts.

It was sourced from Germany and is likely European in origin.

The cross measures 43mm x 68mm with bail, 43mm x 55mm without bail and weighs 6.57 grams

Note: Any marks seen are from dust particles and reflections from photography, the cross is in great condition.
