14K German Georgian Diamond Ring

A stunning German Georgian c.1780-1790 diamond ring beautifully modelled in 14k gold.

It is set with a unique pointy rose cut diamond in a rubbed down collet setting, with clear and bright undamaged foils. The accompanying diamonds on the side are rose cut diamonds as well as two old cut diamonds on each side, and they are in total approx. 1.68ctw by spread.

It was sourced from Germany and is likely German in origin.

The ring is in excellent condition and is a stunning collectible piece. It is very rare to come across a Georgian ring in this style that is made entirely in solid gold such as this example.

It is a US 8.25 and sizable, and weighs 2.35 grams.

Note: Please note that as the diamonds are foiled, it is advisable that the piece does not get wet or exposed to water. It can be gently cleaned by wiping it down with a wrung out damp cloth.
