14K & Silver German Georgian Diamond Five Stone Ring

A stunning German Georgian c.1780-1790 five stone diamond ring beautifully modelled in 14k gold and silver.

It is set with sparkly chunky rose cut diamonds in pinched collet settings, with clear and bright foils. There are approx. 2.50ctw of diamonds by spread. They are closed back and are in good condition commensurate with age.

It was sourced from Germany and is likely German in origin.

It is a US 6 and sizable, and weighs 2.14 grams.

Note: Please note that as the diamonds are foiled, it is advisable that the piece does not get wet or exposed to water. It can be gently cleaned by wiping it down with a wrung out damp cloth.
