18K Post-Edwardian Bloodstone Intaglio 3 Axes Ring c.1917

A charming and unique Post-Edwardian dated London c.1917, bloodstone intaglio ring of 3 axes. A simple yet powerful piece. An axe can denote many things and have deep symbolism: including strength, honour & duty.

Personally, the 3 axes can denote to literally "axe" out negative energy and toxicity in your life; A symbol so very relatable and meaningful. The ring has the most gorgeous engraved shoulders with floral and foliate work, and is fully hallmarked for 18k gold, town assay mark of London, and date mark for c.1917.

Additionally, it comes with its original seal stamp card which is a rarity that it has managed to survive through the years with the ring, as these are often lost or misplaced over time. This will be included with the ring.

It measures 12mm x 15mm, and is a US 8 and sizable.
