18K & Platinum Victorian/Edwardian Diamond Blue Enamel Initial C/D Ring

A unique initial "C/D" ring, set with rose cut diamonds in a blue enamel background, in its original form as a ring. This is an all original and not a conversion piece, which is rare for an initial ring of its kind. It is modelled in 18k gold and platinum, from the Victorian to Edwardian era c.1900-1910. It features an amazing split shank that complements the center piece perfectly. The back of the ring is engraved with A.F.B 12.11.20 T.C, with the engraving being at a later time in the 1920s. This could be a special date commemorating an anniversary event. It was sized up at some point to a US9, and is sizable.
