14K & Silver Victorian Diamond & Enamel Monogram BR/RB Crowned Heart Pendant

A sweet and beautiful Victorian c.1850-1860 crowned heart brooch modelled in 14k gold & silver.

The brooch has a crown and a heart, which was likely a commissioned love token, with the crown representing loyalty in love and white enamel detailing on the heart, representing an honest or pure love.

Nestled in the middle of the heart is a monogram that reads "BR" or "RB", set with twinkling rose cut diamonds, approx. 0.30ctw by spread, complete with white enamel in excellent condition with no blemishes.

The back of the brooch has its original hinge and C-catch pin which opens and closes well.

It measures 20mm x 27mm height, and weighs 4.27 grams.
