14K Victorian Diamond, Emerald & Enamel Star Locket

A charming Victorian c.1870-1880 diamond star, emerald & black enamel locket crafted in 14k gold.

The locket is beautifully detailed with star design, set with a center emerald cabochon 0.76ct, surrounded by sparkly rose cut diamonds approx. 0.51ct by spread, with a total weight of 1.27ctw. The star is outlined with black enamel to give it further emphasis and depth, contrasting to the lovely buttery yellow gold.

The inside of the locket features two compartments that can be used to store precious photos and mementos. It opens and closes well.

It is a gorgeous piece of craftsmanship from the Victorian era, and the locket is in great condition.

It measures 22.8mm x 39.8mm with bail, 22.8mm x 28.4mm without bail, and weighs 8.29 grams.
