18K French Edwardian Diamond Snake Bangle

A stunning French Edwardian c.1910 snake bangle, modelled in luscious 18k gold and hallmarked with a French hallmark on the inner clasp.

The snake's head is set with a rose cut diamond approx. 0.20ctw by spread, and the bangle is beautifully engraved with scales to mimic the snake's body, with its tail realistically coiling all around the bangle as one piece.

It is safely connected with a fancy link safety chain to ensure that the bangle stays on the wrist securely.

It measures an inner circumference of 18cm, approx. 7". From left to right, it measures 61.2mm or 2.4” internally.

It is an oval shaped bangle, so it will not slip off the wrist due to its shape, even for smaller wrists.

The snake's head & body measures 30mm across, and it weighs 10.67 grams.

It is a wonderful piece in excellent condition that would be a very versatile piece that can be styled either day or night. The clasp functions well and opens and closes smoothly. There are no dents or dings and it is in excellent condition.

Note: We have replaced the dull & chipped emerald with a sparkling and bright rose cut diamond in the snake’s head.
