18K French Victorian Diamond Crown & Star Blue Guilloche Enamel Locket

An exceptional French Victorian c.1860-1880 blue enamel locket, modelled in 18k gold.

It is crafted with the most stunning blue guilloche enamel, with a French Baron coronet on the front of the locket, and a sky full of stars on the reverse, set with sparkling rose cut diamonds approx. 0.45ctw by spread.

The interior of the locket contains a glass door, typical of French lockets. It opens and closes well.

It measures 16.5mm x 30mm with bail, 16.5mm x 20mm without bail, and weighs 7.00 grams.

Note: Marks may be seen from reflections of the lighting and are dust particles, and the locket is in wonderful condition.
