18K French Victorian Key Pendant

A rare and beautiful French Victorian c.1870-1880 watch key pendant charm modelled in 18k gold and hallmarked on the jump ring.

It has gorgeous curvatures and swirls that details along the key, and was a French watch key. They key no longer functions as a watch key and is now a pendant.

There is a pendant bail, so it can be worn as a pendant and charm, and hallmarked with the French eagle head for 18k gold on the jump ring. The bail is original to the watch key.

It is very rare to come across a watch key in the shape of an actual key, and we are happy to offer such a beautiful key in excellent condition to add to your collection.

It measures 35mm x 14.5mm not including bail, and weighs 2.67 grams.
