18K French Victorian Watch Chain 17"

A stunning French Victorian watch chain, c.1880-1890, modelled in 18k gold, with beautiful alternating short and long twist links, measuring a generous 17" length.

It is hallmarked with the French eagle head for 18k gold.

It is rare to come across an original watch chain that is in 17", as a majority of watch chains are 15"-15.75" in length.

The chain weighs 15.85 grams and is in excellent condition.
