18K & Silver French Victorian Diamond Scepter Key Brooch

A fabulous French Victorian c.1890 scepter key brooch. It is modelled in 18k gold & silver, and set with diamonds.

It has two old European cut diamonds, and further rose cut diamonds with a total weight of approx. 1.35ctw by spread. The diamonds are closed-back, although they do not appear to be foiled.

This is such a unique style with the magical design and the brooch is in excellent condition. This is certainly a collector's piece.

The key measures 40mm across.
