18K & Silver Georgian/Victorian Diamond Collet Set Stud Earrings

A stunning and classic pair of Georgian to Victorian c.1820-1850 diamond collet set stud earrings, modelled in 18k gold and silver.

It features tightly pinched closed back collet settings, set with rose cut diamonds in each stud approx. 0.13ct, with a total weight of 0.26ctw by spread for the pair.

They were made from antique European brooches, sourced from the Netherlands, and have been masterfully converted into wearable earrings.

Each earring measures approx. 4.4mm across each, and weighs a total of 1.22 grams including the butterfly backs.

These earrings would make a fabulous staple to any collection as it can be dressed up or down and paired in numerous ways.

Note: Please note that as the diamonds are foiled, it is advisable that the piece does not get wet or exposed to water. It can be gently cleaned by wiping it down with a wrung out damp cloth.
