18K & Silver Victorian Diamond Cluster Ring

A gorgeous Victorian c.1840-1860 rose cut cluster ring, crafted in 18k gold and silver.

The middle diamond is a large high domed rose cut, approx. 0.90ctw by spread, surrounded by a halo of smaller rose cut diamonds 0.70ct, with a total weight of 1.60ctw by spread.

The ring has a gorgeous raised side gallery and open-backed settings for the halo of smaller diamonds. The middle diamond is foiled-back.

The ring face measures 11mm x 11mm height, and weighs 4.02 grams.

It has two hallmarks on the outer band, one of them is possibly a French owl hallmark.

It would make a fantastic engagement ring.

It is a US 7 and sizable.

Note: Please note that as the center diamond is foiled, it is advisable that the piece does not get wet or exposed to water. It can be gently cleaned by wiping it down with a wrung out damp cloth.
