18K French Victorian Floral Diamond & Pearl Red Enamel Pocket Watch & Bow Brooch

A spectacular French, circa early 1900s, 18k gold red guilloche enamel, diamond and pearl bow brooch and watch pin/necklace slider, with its original pocket watch. It is so rare for pocket watches to still retain their original watch pins, much less ones that are highly decorated like this one.

It is hallmarked with the French eagle head both on the inside of the watch case and on the brooch. The watch is not running, but can be used as a pendant by threading a chain through it, or we can remove the movement and dial and convert it into a locket. Alternatively, the bow can be used to suspend other pendants or charms of choice as it even double-functions as a slider in its original design - meaning that chains can be threaded and worn through it! The watch measures 25mm across.
