14K American Victorian Krementz & Co. Enamel & Pearl Art Nouveau Lady Crescent Brooch-Pendant

A stunning and exquisite example of fine American Victorian Art Nouveau enamel craftsmanship from the renowned Krementz & Co.

The Victorian c.1900 brooch features a rare motif even amongst Krementz pieces, of a lady entertwined with a crescent in a floral Art Nouveau setting. Many of Krementz pieces often feature Art Nouveau lady and/or foliate scenes, but very rarely done with both an Art Nouveau lady and crescent in the same scene. This is a rare example and would make a great collector's and heirloom piece.

It is modelled in 14k gold, pearls, and very detailed enamel work. It is so visually stunning and wonderfully detailed especially in person. The lady's face also has lightly air-brushed effect of a "cheek's blush", to give it an even more life-like appearance.

The brooch is hallmarked with the Krementz maker's mark on the clasp, along with '14k'.

It also has a watch pin hook at the back which can be used to suspend a pocket watch or additional pendant on the bottom.

It measures 19mm x 25mm with bail, 19mm x 18mm without bail, and weighs 3.67 grams.
