14K German Art Deco Diamond & Sapphire Quatrefoil Locket

A lovely German Art Deco c.1930 locket, crafted in 14k gold. It is set with a mixture of old European cut diamonds & rose cut diamonds in a quatrefoil shaped raised motif, with a cabochon sapphire in the center. The diamonds weigh approx. 0.48ct by spread, and the sapphire 0.35ct, with a total weight of 0.83ctw.

It is such a classic design that will never go out of style. It is a substantial piece, and weighs 6.21 grams. The locket opens and closes well with ease.

The interior of the locket comes with its two original transparent cover inserts as well as original cloth fabrics, and we have gently cleaned this piece and it is ready to be worn. The covers and fabrics have been placed in a separate archival-safe bag for storage and can taken out and used with the locket if you choose to.

The locket measures 23mm x 40mm with bail, 23mm x 33mm without bail.

Note: Marks may be seen from reflections of the lighting and are dust particles, and the locket is in wonderful condition.

In the photos, you will see a dark black portion on the locket, this is the reflection during photography, the entire locket is yellow gold with the quatrefoil portion being white gold.

The tone of the yellow gold has a very slight greenish tint to it, as opposed to a pinkish tone. Please see the video for a more accurate representation.
