14K German Victorian Miniature Cherub Diamond Ring
A sweet German Victorian c.1880 miniature cherub painting, crafted in 14k gold & silver.
The cherub miniature is housed beneath a thick domed glass panel and surrounded by a halo of rose cut diamonds approx. 0.50ct by spread. The reverse is precious mother of pearl.
The cherub is exquisitely painted, with fine details and expressions capturing the cherub in such detail, with the ring face measuring 18mm x 22mm height.
It was a brooch that has been beautifully converted into a ring by master jeweller Gaetano Chiavetta, custom made with a gallery specially hand crafted for this ring in 9k gold, so that the piece sits comfortably on the finger with a slight profile.
It is a US 8 and sizable, and the ring face measures 18mm x 22mm height. It is a gorgeous ring that is exquisitely made, and certainly an absolute treasure to have.
