14K & Silver European Victorian Diamond Tulip Crescent Star Pendant


An outstanding European Victorian c.1870-1890 diamond star crescent modelled in 14k gold and silver.

This is such an exciting and unique one of a kind piece, an exceptional design featuring alternating tulips in between spaces representing flames of a comet's tail. It is further set with rose cut diamonds all around, with a centre large diamond star that is truly captivating and eye catching. 

The diamond star has a sparkly old mine cut diamond in the middle approx. 0.35ct, surrounded by dazzling rose cut diamonds 1.77ct, with a total weight of 2.12ctw by spread. All stones are original and present with no missing stones.

It was originally a brooch and has been masterfully converted into a wearable pendant, and is offered in wonderful condition.

The crescent measures 33mm across, and the star measures 24mm across, and it weighs 12.78 grams.

This is a rare and unique star crescent that would be a valuable addition to any antique jewellery lover's collection that will be treasured for years to come.
