14K & Silver Victorian Diamond Crescent Star Earrings
A beautiful pair of Victorian c.1900 crescent star earrings, set with rose cut diamonds and modelled in 14k gold and silver.
The earrings are rare motifs of a crescent-star, which is rarely found as original earrings as most diamond set crescent type motif earrings are often conversion pieces.
It is our very delight to be able to offer such a rare pair of earrings on our site.
The star is slightly curved, like its larger Victorian era crescent brooch counterpart - but in a wonderful mini earring version. They each have open-worked gallery that provides a flat back for the earring to rest comfortably on the ear lobe.
The diamonds are rose cut diamonds approx. 1.06ctw by spread, and the earrings measure 12mm x 11.5mm height.
They have screwed back posts and backings which provides for maximum security.
