14K & Silver Victorian Diamond & Sapphire Fleur De Lis Crescent Pendant

A rare and stunning Victorian c.1880-1890 crescent pendant, modelled in 14k gold and silver.

The crescent is set with sparkly rose cut diamonds and sapphires in a fancy fleur de lis pattern in the form of a crescent. The side of the crescent features a lovely pierced gallery carved by hand, and the diamonds and sapphires are open-backed to allow more light to pass through for an even brighter sparkle.

There are approx. 1.68ct of diamonds by spread, 0.97ct of sapphires, with a total weight of 2.65ctw.

It is such a unique and one of a kind design, rarely seen set with sapphires. The cut-out edges with the fleur de lis makes it even more special! It was sourced from the Netherlands, and is European in origin. This would be a wonderful and special addition to any crescent lovers collection.

It was a brooch that has been masterfully converted into a wearable pendant, and is in excellent condition.

The crescent measures 38mm across, and weighs 10.04 grams.
