14K Victorian Diamond & Amethyst Initial S Ring

A stunning Victorian c.1860-1870 diamond & amethyst initial "S" crafted in 14k gold.

The ring features an initial "S" set with twinkling rose cut diamonds approx. 0.15ctw by spread, and a rectangular amethyst 42ct, with a total weight of 42.15ctw.

The amethyst was reset into a ring sometime in c.1950-1960, with bold prongs and a lovely split shank setting.

The ring face measures 16.7mm x 19.3mm height not including the prongs, and it weighs 11.12 grams.

It is offered in excellent condition and collectible condition, and would make a great addition to any amethyst lovers' collection.
