14K Victorian Diamond & Onyx Signet Initial A Ring

A wonderful Victorian c.1880-1890 signet ring, with the initial "A" crafted in 14k gold.

It is such a stunning ring, with the initial "A" in a gothic font, set with sparkly rose cut diamonds approx. 0.40ctw by spread, affixed on an onyx plaque. The diamonds are chunky and are bright and clear with wonderful facets, giving an intense old world sparkle.

The shoulders of the ring further brings out its beauty, with intricate hand-etched detailing.

It is a US 12 and sizable. It is an original ring and not a conversion.

The ring face measures 15.5mm x 21.2mm height, and weighs 7.23 grams.
