14K Victorian Diamond & Ruby Horseshoe Pendant

An absolutely stunning Victorian c.1880-1890 horseshoe modelled in 14k gold and set with alternating rose cut diamonds and rubies.

The horseshoe pendant has the most gorgeous rich golden patina which exudes a warm and soft charm. This gives is such a wonderful presence as if it were the golden rays of sunshine shining upon it.

It is set with rose cuts diamonds and rubies that are chunky and glisten beautifully. It is in exceptional condition and quality. The rose cut diamonds are approx. 0.55ct by spread, and rubies 0.54ct, with a total weight of 1.09ctw.

The sides of the horseshoe features an intricate pierced gallery profile which adds to the beauty of the piece. We have retained its original patina on the reverse and have not polished it.

It measures 26mm x 39mm with bail, 26mm x 31mm without bail, and weighs 4.83 grams.
