14K Victorian Star Blue & White Guilloche Enamel Chain 19.75"

An extremely rare and stunning Victorian c.1890-1900 star blue and white enamel chain crafted in 14k gold.

It features an intricate chain with spaced gold plaques, expertly hand painted with blue guilloche enamel surrounded by a white enamel border. Each enamel plaque features the loveliest star motif in the centre, with fine repousse detailing on the edges.

It is worth noting that the guilloche enamel and star motif appear on both sides of each plaque, ensuring the piece retains its beauty even if the chain flips around while worn. This thoughtful detail testifies to its fine craftsmanship.

The chain is offered in excellent and collectible condition, with no enamel loss.

It would look wonderful worn on its own, or paired with a pendant or pocket watch to be worn as a necklace. The chain is a beautiful yellow gold and would be a wonderful addition to guilloche enamel and celestial star lovers' collections.
