18K French Victorian Diamond Initial R Ring

An exceptional and unique example of an initial wide band ring. This is a beautiful French Victorian era c.1890-1900, French Napoleon III original initial "R" ring in a medium-wide band setting, crafted in 18k gold, hallmarked.

The monogram is further detailed with fine details and slightly raised to give it depth with the initial set with tiny little rose cut diamonds approx. 0.035ctw by spread.

It is extremely rare to find wide band monogram rings that are all original, and this is a fine and well crafted ring preserved with its original hallmarks, and this ring is hallmarked with the French eagle head hallmark on the outer band for 18k gold.

The ring band measures 7mm in height. It weighs 2.12 grams.

Important about Sizing
As it is a medium-wide band ring, it will fit tighter than a regular width band ring. We recommend to size up a little from your usual size. This ring is a US 6.5 but will fit like a US 5.75-6. We do not reccomend sizing this ring to retain its original patina.
