18K French Victorian Enamel & Diamond Cherubs Angel Cross Locket

A beautiful French Napoléon III, c.1850-1860 locket modelled in 18k gold and hallmarked. The cherubs angel is enamelled with gorgeous details. The cherub has such a sweet and caring face, paired with wings and a cross, set with rose cut diamonds approx. 0.20ct by spread.

The interior of the locket has its original glass door panel, typical of French lockets of the era. It opens and closes well. The shadows seen on the locket are from the reflections during photography - and the locket itself is in good condition.

It measures 14mm x 25mm with bail, 14mm x 20mm without bail, and weighs 3.66 grams.
