18K French Victorian Initial M Onyx & Pearl Locket

A French Napoleon III, circa 1870-1880, 18k gold onyx and pearl locket, hallmarked. The locket has onyx on both the front and back, as well as rope detailing on both sides.

It is getting particularly hard to source for onyx initial pendants and lockets, as they are highly sought after.

The interior is an original glass door that opens and closes for you to store items or photos inside.

It measures 23mm x 37mm height with bail, 23mm x 27mm without bail.
