18K French Victorian Pearl Portrait Lady Enamel Pocket Watch

A stunning one of a kind French Victorian c.1880-1890 pocket watch, enamelled with a portrait miniature of a lady, dressed in a pink gown. The face of the watch is further decorated with gold swirls and a double halo of pearls on the front and reverse of the watch.

It is hallmarked for 18k gold with the French horse head stamped on the inner case.

More surprisingly, the watch dial on the back is in a teal guilloche enamel, which makes this watch even more special - as the watch dials of pocket watches are often plain white, or a pale colour.

The enamel work on this watch is in great condition, with no noticeable wear.

It is in running and working condition.

It measures 25mm across, and weighs 15.05 grams.
