18K French Vintage Enamel Ladybug Leaf Brooch

A lovely and adorable vintage c.1950-1960 ladybug leaf brooch, crafted in 18k gold, hallmarked.

The gold leaf is beautifully etched with details resembling the veins and stems of a leaf, in 3D rendition. On the leaf is an adorable ladybug, a symbol of good luck. It is in red and black enamel, painted with such remarkable detail.

The brooch opens and closes well, and comes with its original trombone clasp for added security. It is hallmarked with the French eagle head for 18k gold.

It measures 52mm x 24mm height, and weighs 2.87 grams.
