18K & Platinum French Art Deco Diamond & Sapphire Arrow Jabot Pin
A stunning and unique French Art Deco c.1920-1930 arrow jabot pin, modelled in 18k gold and platinum, hallmarked. It is set with rose cut diamonds, sapphires and an old transitional-brilliant cut diamond at the end of the pin.
Many arrow jabot pins have a feather tail end, this particular design is a little more unique, featuring a center old transitional-brilliant cut diamond 0.30ct in the middle as its focal point, surrounded by sapphires 0.48ct in an inverted triangle shape, with further rose cut diamonds 0.80ct on the end and at the arrow head, with a total weight of approx. 1.58ctw.
The arrow head comes off, so it can be worn on a blazer, dress, scarf, collar pin, or coat. Additionally, charms can be dangled on the pin stem, making it a highly versatile and unique piece. It is in great condition and opens and closes well.
It is hallmarked with the French eagle head on the pin for 18k gold.
The jabot pin measures 68mm across, the arrow head 13mm x 11.75mm, and the inverted triangle end 12.4mm x 7.45mm. It weighs 3.11 grams.
