18K & Silver French Victorian Diamond Crescent Brooch-Pendant with Removable Pin
A stunning French Victorian c.1880-1900 diamond crescent modelled in 18k gold and silver, hallmarked.
It is set with sparkling old European cut diamonds in the middle of the crescent, further surrounded by glittering rose cut diamonds on both sides, approx. 2.90ctw by spread.
The brooch pin is hallmarked with the French horse head for 18k gold. It opens and closes well. Additionally, the brooch pin screws off, so that the brooch is detachable. The c-catch of the brooch also has a hinge which allows it to be folded down. We have added a hidden bail at the back of the crescent in 18k gold so that the brooch can be worn as a pendant. The brooch is in excellent condition.
It measures 34.5mm across, and weighs 10.60 grams.
