18K & Silver Victorian Diamond Collet Set Stud Earrings
A stunning and very rare pair of Victorian c.1880-1900 diamond collet set stud earrings, modelled in 18k gold and silver, hallmarked.
It features tightly pinched collet settings, set with two stunning cushion old mine diamonds in each stud approx. 0.40ct, with a total weight of 0.80ctw by spread for the pair. The diamonds are open-backed and allows light to pass through for an even brighter sparkle. The diamonds are SI in clarity and G-H in colour.
The earrings feature an intricate and stunning side profile, with pierced gallery on the base. They are original earrings and not a conversion, and are hallmarked 750 for 18k gold on the earring post and butterfly back.
Each earring measures approx. 7.83mm across each, and weighs a total of 2.35 grams including the butterfly backs.
These earrings would make a fabulous staple to any collection as it can be dressed up or down and paired in numerous ways.
