18K & Silver Victorian Diamond Crowned, Star & Arrow Enamel Ring

A truly remarkable Victorian c.1880 blue enamel ring, modelled in 18k gold & silver, and decorated with the most special of motifs: A 5 point crown (Title: Count/Countess in nobility), a 6 point star, and arrows.

It was a Victorian brooch, but we knew that it had to be a special ring the moment we saw it. This has now transformed into a one of a kind navette ring with a raised gallery for comfort, a split shank detail with a gold leaf on each side, and most amazingly, rope detailing all around the shank. The workmanship on this ring is incredible and bar-none, with the conversion done by the master goldsmith Gaetano Chiavetta.

The motifs would have represented an important noble family's coat of arms, and is set with rose cut diamonds approx. 0.40ctw by spread. The blue enamel is in pristine condition.

It measures 8mm x 18mm without crown, 8mm x 24mm with crown, and is a US 7 and sizable.
