18K & Silver Victorian Diamond Dangle Earrings

A stunning and rare Victorian c.1880-1890 collet set dangle earring with rose cut diamonds, crafted in 18k gold and silver. It is hallmarked 750 on the earring post backings which is also screwed on the ends of the posts for maximum security.

It is rare to come across an antique pair of earrings that are intact and beautifully preserved in pinch collet settings with a quadruple drop, as they are often taken apart and sold separately as they can be sold for higher prices as single studs.

This particular pair is in excellent condition, with the rose cut diamonds totalling an approx. of 1.40ctw by spread. In addition, the end of the dangle features a unique collet set trillion cut (triangle shaped) diamond, which is very uncommon to come across as most collet set diamonds are in a round shape.

These earrings are an important investment & heirloom worthy piece that can be cherished for generations. It is also open-backed which allows for easy maintenance as it can be in contact with water.

The total drop from top to bottom of each dangle earring is 25mm. For more information on measurements, please see the detailed information below.
