18K Victorian Diamond Cluster Ring

$650
Item Details

A wonderful everyday classic Victorian to Edwardian c.1900-1910 diamond cluster ring staple in 18k gold. The shoulders are engraved with details, that resemble two sideways hearts, on the sides of the diamond cluster.

The cluster is set with old European cut diamonds, so they are extra sparkly. The center diamonds is 0.10ct, and the total weight is approx. 0.40ctw.

It is an all original ring and not a conversion piece, with all original components.

The face of the cluster measures 9mm x 9mm, and it is a US 6.75 and sizable.

There are English full hallmarks on the inside of the band, but they are rubbed down and cannot be fully deciphered. It is very possible that this was originally used as an engagement ring as it is wonderfully constructed. This would have been a huge upgrade from the classic 18k plain wedding bands you see from that period, and would have made for a wonderful ring for a wonderful bride. Today, this makes for a wonderful everyday ring that is wonderful on its own, or stacked with other rings.
