18K Victorian French Diamond & Emerald Cluster Engraved Bangle
A French Victorian c.1880-1900 bangle in fine French craftsmanship, crafted in 18k gold, hallmarked.
It is an exquisitely detailed bangle on the top and bottom of the front with the most stunning of floral and foliate engraving work on a knife edge bangle. It features a cluster in the center set with old European cut diamonds surround an emerald.
There are 1.13ct diamonds by spread, 0.54ct emeralds, with a total weight of 1.67ctw by spread.
It measures an inner circumference of 18cm, approx. 7", and from left to right, it measures 60mm or 2.36" internally. It weighs 11.39 grams. The bangle is completed with a figure-8 safety closure on top of the clasp for added security. It is hallmarked with asssay marks on the tongue of the clasp.
