18K Vintage Retro Jaeger-LeCoultre Diamond Wrist Watch

A stunning vintage c.1940-1950 renowned Jaeger-LeCoultre diamond wrist watch modelled in 18k gold and hallmarked.

It is set with an array of round brilliant cut diamonds along the band of the wrist watch, as well as around the square frame of the watch dial, approx. 1.10ctw.

This is a small sized wrist watch, with two length settings on the clasp. The first setting is at 15cm/6 inches. The second setting is at 16cm/6.30 inches. It would be a perfect fit for wrists’ measuring between 15-16cm.

It is an earlier version of vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre vintage watches, dating to the c.1940-1950, as opposed to the later c.1960-1980 versions, as the winding crown is placed at the back of the watch as opposed to the side of the watch. It is a wonderful collector’s piece that would be an excellent heirloom addition. 

The watch face measures 13.7mm x 13.7mm height, and weighs 23.13 grams.

The watch is in running and working condition. It is a mechanical hand-wind wrist watch with its original Swiss movement, along with Swiss Helvetia hallmarks for 18k gold. It is stamped both on the back & sides of the watch case and on both on the back and sides of the clasp, indicating that the entire watchpiece is made in 18k gold.
