9K Edwardian Etruscan Diamond & Sapphire Bangle c.1909
A Edwardian era c.1909 Etruscan sapphire and diamond bangle, hallmarked for 9k (9ct) gold, with date mark for Chester 1909. It is in a rich bloomed finish, which gives it a striking warm gold colour in a matte satin finish. Detail is in abundance in this bangle, from granulated beads, to grape-like patterns. Starbursts, rope detailing, and a belted ribbon. It measures an inner circumference of 17cm and has not just one, but two safety chains for maximum security.
Note: To retain the semi-matte finish of bloomed gold pieces, we recommend not to polish the piece. If you really have to, for example, remove a darkened tarnish mark, please ensure to only use a jewellery polish cloth, and with very light handed motions and only very sparingly.
