9K & Silver Victorian Diamond & Sapphire Bow Necklace

A stunning Victorian c.1890-1900 bow necklace crafted in 9k gold & silver, with diamonds and sapphire on a 9k gold chain.

The sweet bow is set with sparkly old European cut diamonds in the main bow and a couple of tiny rose cut diamonds on the very edges, approx. 0.69ct by spread, and a center sapphire 0.55ct, with a total weight of 1.24ctw. All stones are original to the piece and are all present.

The diamonds and sapphire are open-backed which allow maximum light to pass through for an intense sparkle. It is offered in excellent condition with all stones present.

It was made from an antique brooch, and has been masterfully converted to a wearable necklace on a 9k gold chain, with an adjustable 16" and 18" length.

The dainty bow design is such a versatile piece in any antique jewellery lover's collection and can be worn on its own, or layered with other charms.

The bow measures 20.2mm x 20.3mm height, and weighs 4.32 grams.
