9K Victorian Diamond Initial Y Ring
A wonderful late Victorian c.1890 initial "Y" ring, modelled in 9k gold, and set with rose cut diamonds. The diamond initial "Y" is from an original Victorian component. The diamonds are approx. 0.27ctw by spread.
Antique initials are always highly sought after and are becoming increasingly scarce as they join the personal collections of many monogram & initial enthusiasts.
This piece has been specially custom and handmade to be a wide band ring that fits the top and bottom of the initial perfectly. It is the perfect stacking piece or to be worn on its own.
The ring band measures 13mm in height.
For a gauge on how it looks like worn and modelled on a hand, please see the video provided. The ring can be worn with comfort and fingers can be bent with ease etc.
Important about Sizing
As it is a wide band ring, it will fit tighter than a regular width band ring. We recommend to go one size up your usual size. This ring is a US 8.25 but will fit like a US 7-7.25.
Custom Project
There has been a special request to change the band from 13mm in height, to 10mm in height, as well as a ring resize to a US 7.5.
Note: The images are shot on a highly reflective ring surface, hence it looks like there are many marks. However please note that most of these are dust particles.
