9K Victorian Teddy Bear Earrings

An adorable pair of English late Victorian c.1890-1900 teddy bear earrings, modelled in 9k (9ct) gold, and hallmarked. The teddy bear is finely constructed with delicate details that makes them look so lifelike. The bears have details on both of the front & back in 3D!

They look like two adorable plush toys! The backings are lever-backs, which means that there is that added security when being worn as they will not come off. The bears have a lovely swing & movement to them when being worn, as they dangle softly and sway to movement.

Teddy bear pieces often come in a pendant or charm form, and it is our first encounter seeing them as a pair of earrings like these. They would make a wonderful keepsake antique piece especially for teddy bear lovers, and are both adult and children friendly due to their secure backing.

Each bear measures 9mm x 12mm height, with a 35mm drop from the top of the earring to the bottom. It weighs 5.20 grams in total.

Era - Victorian c.1890-1900
Materials - 9k gold
Measurements - Teddy Bear: 9mm x 12mm height / Wire Top to Bottom Drop: 35mm height
